should i buy Serena Light Weight Portable Folding Rollaway Bed reviews

Our son's college buddy said it was the best sleep he's had since September (when he stayed with us over Thanksgiving break). It was a big step up from the air mattresses we used to offer guests. Good solution for overnight guests when you don't have that much xtra space. The second day after I slept on the rollaway bed the wheels broke.. Within a week the mattress became so thin it feels like I'm sleeping on a metal gate.. I do not recommend this product to no one.. Don't make the mistake I did, check the dimensions first on this bed. Picture is of a twin/double size bed & a prime example of false advertising. While it is nice to have a bed to roll-away out of sight, it's not very good quality. The latch which is supposed to hold the two ends of the frame closed when not in use doesn't even fit. I use a small bungee cord instead.

I also purchased a memory foam topper for it. It *does* make for a comfortable bed when it's set up. I wouldn't use it for anyone of "significant" size. Perfect for our grandson when he stays over, and lets us use the room for other things normally. It takes up very little room when folded. He says it is very comfortable. It's not a tempur-pedic but it is a good value for the money. My adult daughter is using this bed right now and she likes it. Soft, easy to use, and easy to store. We have had no problems with it flipping up or closing on anyone, just make sure that both ends are down before you sit on the bed!

I ALWAYS read reviews before purchasing, so I wanted everyone to know that this is definitely an item I would purchase again.

I am giving a 4 star instead of a 5 star because when we got the bed one of the wheels was not threaded correctly and wouldn't fit. The bed will not function properly if the wheels aren't completely in, so we contacted Amazon. They couldn't replace the wheel but they did promptly refund 40% of the purchase price so we could get new wheels. (Amazon customer service is awesome) My husband ended up just forcing the wheel on, we figured we wouldn't have to take it off again so it didn't matter.It was a Great buy, very easy to set up.

I did not expect much based on the price tag, but I am pleasantly surprised, the bed frame is quite strong, the foam mattress is a little bit thin, I think it's 4 inches, but comfortable to sleep on. It's definitely worth the price I paid for. We wanted a folding bed for our spare room for guests. For the price we were surprised at how comfortable this bed is. It looks flimsy but held a 260 lb man. the mattress is very comfortable. It rolls easily and fits nicely in our spare room closet. I guess you could call it a single size. not for tall people though.
